Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Announcers State Award Winners, to be honored Saturday, March 8th at Annual Awards Reception


Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania – February 17, 2014 – Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer recently announced some of the winners of the 2013 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer State Awards, who will be honored Saturday, March 8th at the association’s annual awards reception.

“All of us at Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer congratulate the winners of our annual state awards, recognizing individual accomplishments that serve the greater good of the sport of soccer, and support the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship at all levels of our association,” said Chris Branscome, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer.  “This year, we were truly overwhelmed with nominations in all categories, and we will celebrate another successful year in our history at our reception in March.”

Among the 2013 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer State Awards winners are:
·         Administrator of the Year:  Connie Buzzard, Penn Legacy/Hempfield Soccer Club (Landisville, PA)
·         Boys Recreational Coach of the Year:  Dennis Stanton, Colonial Soccer Club (Plymouth Meeting).
·         Girls Recreational Coach of the Year:  Michelle Bates, Northern Lebanon Soccer Club (Northern Lebanon County)
·         Young Male Referee of the Year: Patrick Casey
·         Young Female Referee of the Year: Jessica Moretti
·         Boys Travel Coach of the Year: Mark Thomas, West Chester United Soccer Club
·         Girls Travel Coach of the Year:  Frank Omlor, North Union United Soccer Club (Lewisburg, PA)
·         TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year:  Danielle Albrecht and Susan Vaughan, Aston Youth Soccer Association
·         Volunteer of the Year:  Victor and Jackye Pazmino, Southern Chester County Soccer Club (Kennett Square, PA)

Additional awards will be announced in the coming weeks and at Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Annual Award Reception, including the two recipients of the Service to Youth Award, the two recipients of the Excellence in Coaching Award, and the D’Anjolell Award.

Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Annual Award Reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th at the Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast, located at 2400 Old Lincoln Highway at US Route 1, in Trevose, PA (19043).  Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets and additional information are available at http://www.epysa.org/events/awards_reception/.
