Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Announces Jim Kuntz Elected Association President, Three New Executive Board Members


Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania – April 2, 2013 – Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer recently announced the election of Jim Kuntz as the President of the association, as well as the election of three new members to their Executive Board, following voting at Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Annual General Meeting in Reading on Sunday, March 3rd.

Kuntz was elected to a two-year term as President of the association, succeeding Bob McDade, who will now serve as Immediate Past President for the next two years.

Also elected to the Executive Board were:
• Mike Finnegan, Vice President, Travel;
• John Lenart, Vice President, Recreation;
• And Nicole Posillico Epps, Treasurer.

Kuntz, who had served as Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Vice President, Travel, was co-chair of theLancaster Organizing Committee for the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships in 2011 and 2012. Kuntz is a long-time Lancaster-based real estate executive, currently affiliated with Prudential Home Sale Services in Lancaster.

Mike Finnegan has served as a District Commissioner for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer since 2010, and he was an alternate District Commissioner from 2006 until 2010.  He was an active participant in the development of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Strategic Plan and assisted with multiple State Cup tournaments.  Finnegan was selected as the 2010 Administrator of the Year and the 2010 US Youth Soccer Region I Administrator of the Year.  In 2011 and 2012, he also served as an Assistant Site Director at the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships in Lancaster.   Finnegan is one of the founders and Director of Product Development for LabWare Holdings, Inc. (Wilmington, Delaware), which has grown over the last 20 years into a $100 million multinational corporation specializing in laboratory informatics.  Previously, Finnegan had been the leader of the Laboratory Informatics business unit of Taratec Development Corporation.  A Philadelphia native, Finnegan is a graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

John Lenart is a lifelong player from youth through high school, university and men’s leagues in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Lenart has eight years of experience in various roles as a travel and intramural coach, commissioner, academy director, board member and vice president of intramural soccer at Nether Soccer.  Professionally, Lenart is the Director of New Product Development/Insulin Delivery for Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care Franchise (Chesterbrook, PA), and has worked at Johnson & Johnson in a number of roles since June 2004.  Previously, Lenart worked at Takeda Abbott Pharmaceuticals (Chicago) from September 1999 through June 2004.  Lenart is a graduate of Widener University.

Nicole Posillico Epps has served as Chief Financial Officer of Spectrum Arena, LP, since 2005, which is the entity that owns and operates the Wells Fargo Center and a part of Comcast-Spectacor.  She is responsible for all financial reporting and day-to-day activities for Spectrum Arena. She moved into her current role after being the Controller for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2002 to 2005. Prior to her position within the Comcast-Spectacor family she was a senior staff accountant for the fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer based out of King of Prussia. Posilico Epps has her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University, where she was a member of the Wildcats women’s soccer team and honored as one of Soccer America’s Top 11 Players in the nation. She is currently the treasurer of Lower Merion Soccer Club, as well as a coach with the club for over 10 years in the travel program as well as many training programs. She was on the staff that started the U-8 Developmental Academy and continues to oversee the girls program.
