Limited Space Available for Monday’s Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament Presented by Unequal Technologies At Stone Harbor Golf Club


Philadelphia, PA – June 14, 2012 -- Celebrities will gather this coming Monday, June 18th at Stone Harbor Golf Club for friendly competition and to raise funds for a great cause, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport News and Philadelphia, at the inaugural Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by Unequal Technologies.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback, who is an avid golfer in the offseason, will host and play in the event. Expected celebrity guests include past and current pro football players as well as local celebrities and sports figures from the Philadelphia region.

Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport News, Virginia (Vick’s hometown) and Philadelphia

“I grew up in the Boys & Girls Club,” said Vick.  “Thanks to this important program, I was able to play organized sports as a child. I want to make sure the programs continue to give children positive alternatives.”

The Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament begins at 12 noon on Monday, June 18th.  Donations to compete in the Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament are $300 per person, or $1,200 per foursome.

The debut of the Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament will be at the historic and prestigious Stone Harbor Golf Club.  Designed by renowned golf architect Desmond Muirhead, Stone Harbor Golf Club is set amidst 350 acres in Cape May Court House, minutes from the South Jersey beaches and the resorts of Atlantic CityStone Harbor Golf Club is a par 72, 6922 yard course which features five sets of tees, water hazards on 11 of the 18 holes and 58 bunkers.
