Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Partners with West Chester United Soccer Club for Kohl’s American Cup May 29th & 30th


Horsham, Pennsylvania – March 30, 2010 – The Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association today announced it is partnering the West Chester United Soccer Club to host the Kohl’s American Cup, Saturday, May 29th and Sunday, May 30th, at West Chester United Soccer Club’s Thornbury Soccer Park.

The Kohl’s American Cup is open to the following age groups: under 8; under 9; under 10; under 12; under 14; and under 18 years of age. Boys’ games will take place on Saturday, May 29th, and girls’ games will take place on Sunday, May 30th. The deadline for registration is Friday, April 30th. “Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer has always been committed to recreational soccer, and the 2010 Kohl’s American Cup is an excellent opportunity to give local recreational players additional experience,” said Chris Branscome, Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.

West Chester is one of 30 locations nationwide that will host the Kohl’s American Cup, which is the largest recreational soccer tournament in the nation and boasts more than 65,000 participants and 160,000 attendees annually since its inception in 2000. US Youth Soccer's 55 State Associations provide youth soccer players an opportunity to experience a high-quality statewide tournament in a fun, festival-like atmosphere.
