Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Workshop 2010 Saturday, March 6th in Downingtown



Horsham, Pennsylvania – The 24th annual Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) Workshop is set for Saturday, March 6th at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
EPYSA, which for over 35 years has promoted, fostered and perpetuated the game of soccer to the youth of the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley regions, annually presents the Youth Soccer Workshop to aid youth soccer coaches, administrators, and parents in coaching and developing young soccer players.
Registration for EPYSA Workshop 2010 is available online prior to the event at http://www.epysa.org/coachesworkshop.shtml for $10. Day-of-the-event registration on-site is $15.
The EPYSA Workshop 2010 includes coaching clinics featuring Olympic Development Program staff; EPYSA Director of Coaching Mike Barr; Paul Riley, Head Coach of the Philadelphia Independence; Drexel University assistant women’s soccer coach Don Overmier; West Chester University men’s soccer head coach Kendall Walkes; University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer head coach Darren Ambrose; as well as other coaches and players from the region.
Also featured is a vendor show with the latest in soccer gear and technology; games and prizes for children in the new "Kick Zone;" an autograph session and on-field demonstration with Philadelphia Independence players; and a question & answer session with Philadelphia Union CEO Nick Sakiewicz.
All sessions will be held on two indoor fields and three classrooms at the United Sports Training Center, located at 1426 Marshallton Thorndale Road, Downingtown, PA 19335. Additional information about the facilities, including directions, is available at http://www.unitedsports.net/
