College Fanz Sports Network Partners with Wells Cargo for College Fanz Mobile Broadcast Unit


August 25, 2009 – College Fanz™ Sports Network, the world’s largest online college sports community launched by ESPN founder Bill Rasmussen, has partnered with Wells Cargo, the pioneering manufacturer of cargo trailers based in Elkhart, Indiana, to create the Mobile Broadcast Unit for the College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week.

Coupled with the unique and colorful College Fanz Van, the Mobile Broadcast Unit will travel across America this fall in support of the College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week broadcasts, which debut Saturday, August 29th on http://www.collegefanz.com/.

Fanz in attendance on campus at the College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week can join the broadcast team for special pre-game and post-game broadcasts live alongside the College Fanz Van (The Prestige Traveler from American Custom Vehicles in Elkhart).

The College Fanz Mobile Broadcasting Unit is a custom-modified, seven-foot wide and 16 foot long Wells Cargo tandem axle cargoWagon®. Upgrades for College Fanz include: Rear cornerpost jacks; seven-foot interiors; radius-side entry door; sidewall and ceiling insulation; smooth bonded exterior (no screws); Aerodynamic Nose Cone®, and LED Safety Package. The interior has been outfitted by American Custom Vehicles as a mobile broadcasting studio and sleeping quarters for four, with carpeting, custom ceiling with integrated lighting, equipment racks, television monitors, cable hatches, air conditioning and ventilation.
