College Fanz Sports Network Acquires Victory Sports Network, Adding “Home for All Things NAIA” to World’s Largest Online College Sports Community

Mt. Laurel, NJ – November 17, 2008 – College Fanz™ Sports Network has acquired the Victory Sports Network (VSN), the dominant voice of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

“This is a tremendous opportunity for the Victory Sports Network and the thousands of fans of NAIA schools that have made VSN successful to expand the coverage and awareness of the nearly 300 small college sports programs,” exclaimed Jason Dannelly, the founder of Victory Sports Network, which is based in Grand Island, Nebraska. “This is the biggest news ever about the Victory Sports Network and fans of all things NAIA.”

The acquisition continues the vision of College Fanz to become the single source for scores and information from over 1,450 colleges and universities in the United States. Fanz can post videos, photographs, and comment on their favorite teams and schools, participate in contests, and communicate with other fans in a compelling and ever-growing social network.

ESPN Founder Bill Rasmussen and College Fanz CEO said, “Adding the enthusiasm, relationships and resources of Jason and the Victory Sports Network to College Fanz continues our quest to develop a single site for fans of all college sports to enjoy. Jason has worked tirelessly since 2002 as a champion of NAIA sports and we are delighted to join him in providing broader coverage of thousands of dedicated student-athletes who represent NAIA schools.”

College Fanz is the world’s largest online college sports community, with students, alumni, and other fans of college sports. College Fanz boasts over 22,000 web pages devoted to more than 1,450 colleges and universities throughout the United States competing in over 225,000 NCAA and NAIA athletic events.

The Victory Sports Network web site and other properties will be re-branded as College Fanz as a result of the acquisition. Victory Sports Network was founded in 2002, and has become the leading voice for NAIA college sports through its web sites, print magazines, and syndicated radio broadcasts. Each of those properties will continue under College Fanz, with Dannelly assuming a management position within the organization.
