Anne Baber Presents “Tips to Activate Your Network” at Philadelphia Regional ExecuNet Meeting Wednesday, October 3rd in Bryn Mawr

Wayne, PA – September 11, 2007 – Anne Baber, a nationally-known expert on building relationships who has co-authored a dozen books on networking and careers, will present “Tips to Activate Your Network” at the next meeting of the Philadelphia Area Regional ExecuNet, Wednesday, October 3rd at the Gregg Conference Center at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The meeting is hosted by Kelleher Associates, Inc.

Networking and registration for the event begins at 7:15 a.m., with the presentation and a question and answer session scheduled from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The cost is $25 prior to September 28th and $30 after that date. Baber has presented customized training programs for professional services firms, corporations, associations, and government agencies. She is co-founder of Contacts Count, which helps clients recognize the strategic applications for networking. Baber most recently co-authored the book “Make Your Contacts Count: Networking Know-How for Business and Career Success,” published by the American Management Association. She has been featured in, or written articles for, more than 100 publications including The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and The New York Times.

In her presentation, Baber will discuss networking as the pivotal professional competency in today's workplace. Understanding how relationships develop through six stages will facilitate building effective relationships as you explore new opportunities. Baber’s practical networking strategies can enhance your search and improve your chances by cultivating relationships that may uncover opportunities, diversifying your network, developing trust and increasing understanding of others.The meeting is hosted by Ed Kelleher, the president of Kelleher Associates.
