Newtown, PA – June 14, 2007 – Diana Sherman, a professional with significant experience in Information Technology consulting, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, recently joined Conner & Associates, P.C. as Director of Audit Services.

Previously, Sherman was the Director of Internal Audit for ARI Insurance Companies (Lawrenceville, NJ). She was responsible for all aspects of operational and compliance audits for the $35 million mutual insurance company, including Sarbanes Oxley and other legislation. From 1993 through 1998, Sherman was the Manager of Accounting and Financial Systems at Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange (Lawrenceville, NJ).
Sherman has attained the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, considered the internationally recognized leader for IT audit & security. She is currently pursuing the Certified Fraud Examiner designation to further compliment her CPA. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and the Certified Fraud Examiners Society. She earned her CPA in May 1994, and was a Cum Laude graduate of East Stroudsburg (PA) University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
