Teach Anti-Bullying Donates Sixers Tickets to Underpriveleged Children in Philadelphia, Chester & Camden for a “Night at the Sixers” Saturday, April 5th

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – March 21, 2014 – Teach Anti-Bullying, the national, 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to working with educators and parents on the bullying crisis in the classroom and our communities, has raised funds to send 50 underprivileged children from Philadelphia, Chester and Camden to a special “Night at the Sixers,” on Saturday, April 5th.

The Sixers will play the Brooklyn Nets that night at the Wells Fargo Center – game time is 7:30 p.m.

“We originally planned a special fundraising ‘Teach Anti-Bullying Walk with the Sixers,’ but due to certain logistical problems, we realized that this would much better serve the children of our communities that have never had the opportunity to go to something like this,” said Claudio V. Cerullo, Ph.D., the founder and President of Teach Anti-Bullying.  “Teach Anti-Bullying purchased tickets with the help of donations, and we will be sending under-privileged children and their families from Chester, Philadelphia and Camden to the game to help us promote anti-bullying awareness. They are so very excited, and we will be there to join them!”

Donations are still accepted for the evening to purchase additional tickets.  Interested donors can contact Teach Anti-Bullying’s Vice President, Daniela Redpath, by e-mail at dredpath@teachantibullying.net or by phone at 484-431-9711.
