Plymouth Meeting, PA – September 17, 2010 – Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer, which has worked throughout Eastern Pennsylvania to promote, foster and perpetuate the game of soccer to the region’s youth since 1972, recently debuted their new logo.
The new Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer logo replaces a logo that had been in place for over 20 years, and reflects a modern take on the iconic “keystone” image.
“Our new logo enhances our brand and will help us generate even greater awareness of our organization and our sport,” said Chris Branscome, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. “Adding the date serves as a reminder to all that we have been working for the youth of this state, and to improve the quality of soccer, for nearly 40 years.
“The initial designs of our new logo were created in conjunction with Liz Moseley, the graphic designer for US Youth Soccer, who I worked closely with for over seven years on other logo designs for other state associations, clubs and events around the country,” Branscome said. “Locally, we worked with designer Amy Jacoby on the final details, and she will continue working with us on future internal and external brand-related projects.”
The new logo is part of many exciting new developments at Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer over the last year, beginning with Branscome’s hiring as CEO last September, the promotion of Mike Barr to the full-time position of Director of Coaching and the recent hiring of Danielle Fagan as Assistant Director of Coaching, as well as the move into new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Plymouth Meeting and the development of a new Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer website that went live earlier this month.
