Phoenixville, PA -- August 18, 2009 -- 21st Century Products, which has the exclusive sales and distribution rights to the innovative new Tank Mobile Kiosks in the United States, Central and South America, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of Pennsylvania-Delaware-Southern New Jersey, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
An experienced entrepreneur and business executive, Marian Moskowitz is the founder and President of 21st Century Products. She launched the entrepreneurial start-up company in 2006, and directs the daily operations of the growing firm, including personnel, budgeting, sales, trade shows, and inventory. Moskowitz has extensive and varied business experiences, and has been involved in a number of start-ups in her career, including Omni Transport, Inc. (Morrisville, PA), Aloette of Penn Jersey, Inc. (Quakertown, PA) and a variety of building and land development companies, including Franklin Commons (Phoenixville, PA), an adaptive reuse of an abandoned, over 100 year old mill and manufacturing site that is one of the only privately-owned educational and office facilities in the country.
Moskowitz is active with a number of charitable and non-profit organizations, and currently serves on the board of the Israeli Guide Dog School (Israel). She served as Chair of the Board of the Jewish Federation of Chester County, and was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and a committee member of the Regional Unity Task Force for that organization for several years. She currently serves on the board of Trustees of Neumann University, the board of directors of the historic Colonial Theatre (Phoenixville, PA), Board of Directors of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and as a member of the council of trustees at West Chester University.
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of PA-DE-sNJ is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council is the nation’s largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States.
