Ohana, Transforming the Rebate Industry, Names William Lamb Senior VP for Business Development & Strategic Relationship Management
Wilmington, Delaware – September 8, 2008 -- Ohana, the pioneering company that is transforming the rebate industry with their new business model where “Everybody Wins,” has named William Lamb as the company’s new Senior Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Relationship Management.
“Bill Lamb’s considerable sales and marketing expertise in financial services and other industries make him the perfect person to head up Ohana’s sales, customer relationships and business development as we continue to grow,” said Chris Quinlan, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ohana Companies. “His talent and skill in finance and in business leadership further enhance our senior management team as we continue to transform the broken model of reward, rebate and redemption that has frustrated consumers, retailers and manufacturers for decades, and bring our new model where ‘Everybody Wins’ to the marketplace.”
Joining the Ohana team effective immediately, Lamb was most recently a founding shareholder with the Philadelphia Trust Company (Philadelphia, PA), a fully chartered and insured depository trust company which functions as an asset manager and a private bank. He joined Philadelphia Trust as Vice President of sales & marketing in 2005 to develop distribution strategies for the firm.
“I am excited to join Ohana, which is well positioned to revolutionize how consumers, manufacturers and retailers each experience rebates and rewards,” said Lamb, who had previously spent eight years in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry developing distribution strategies. “Ohana’s senior management team and core professionals bring a great variety of retail, marketing, financial services and technologies experiences to the company, all of which provides significant impact and knowledge for our clients.”
Lamb spent 14 years as a commercial distributor of office supplies, equipment and furniture in his family-owned business, Lamb Brothers, and later with Staples. Active in the community, Lamb serves on several for profit and non-profit boards as well as the serving as the volunteer head coach of St. Joseph’s Prep rowing team in Philadelphia.
