15-Week Test of College Football Skill & Knowledge Encompasses NCAA & NAIA
Mt. Laurel, NJ -- August 21, 2008 -- A new college football season kicks off Labor Day weekend, and with it begins the College Fanz™ Sports Network’s latest enhancement, the CF Fanz Challenge.
New to the world’s largest online college sports community this fall, the CF Fanz Challenge begins Saturday, August 30th and continues over the next 15 weeks. Registration and entries are free, at CollegeFanz.com.
In the CF Fanz Challenge, college sports fans will test their football knowledge by correctly guessing the winners of college football games every week.
A true test of any college football fanz’ skill, the CF Fanz Challenge is unique in selecting five games from NCAA FBS schools, one game from NCAA FCS schools, and one each from NCAA Division II and III as well as in the NAIA, and a “wildcard” game that can come from any level. Weekly prizes, consisting of College Fanz Gear Gift Packs, will be awarded to one winner each week. The end-of-season Grand Prize winner will be awarded a large-screen Flat Panel High Definition TV. A great slate of games kicks off the CF Fanz Challenge on Saturday, August 30th with Utah at Michigan and Oklahoma State at Washington State at 3:30 Eastern. Featured 8:00 games are Clemson at Alabama and Michigan State at California. The tiebreaker matches Illinois at Missouri. This week’s Challenge includes two NCAA Division II games - Abilene Christian at NW Missouri State and St. Augustine at Catawba - and a much anticipated NAIA match-up between Carroll College (MT) at Azusa Pacific. NCAA Division III teams begin play in Week 2 of the Challenge.
