“Our power breakfast meetings for senior executives will provide practical tips and advice from industry leaders for business professionals, while bringing attention to our continuing services for the community in the Tioga section of North Philadelphia,” said Ann Provost, Executive Director of Mercy Neighborhood Ministries. “In the next few months, we will be hosting a number of outstanding presentations for the business community in Philadelphia, as well as a major award dinner in the spring, leading up to the grand opening of our new Mercy Family Center this fall.”

Davidson is an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, and the anchor of the NBC 10 News program “All That and More.” In her presentation on April 17th, “Embracing Change in the Workplace,” she will discuss how, not so long ago, there were only three television networks and people watched news at 6 p.m. Now it's a whole new world—challenging, scary but liberating. Davidson will talk about how her business has changed, and the challenges faced by information producers. She will discuss how it's not just "over the air," it's about digital delivery and all the ways that people consume information.

Many people in business (and in our personal lives too) hold on to old ways because change can be scary. Davidson will discuss how change can be embraced and how, once embraced, can open us up to all kinds of possibilities.Davidson joined NBC 10 News in March 1996 after spending nearly 10 years anchoring and reporting for CBS affiliate WTVH in Syracuse, NY. In addition to her television experience, she has a very extensive background in radio. From 1981-1986, she worked for several New York radio stations. Davidson has earned several prestigious awards for her work in broadcasting including being named a “Woman of Distinction” in 2004 by the Philadelphia Business Journal and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
