According to Mike Lieberman, the Master of Ceremonies of the Reality Marketing Summit 07 and the founder and President of Square 2 Marketing, “It’s not hard to kick up your sales efforts, but it does take work and creativity.

“There are several secrets to increasing sales, and ending your business pain,” Lieberman said. “While I won’t reveal all the secrets outside of the Reality Marketing Summit, I can share four ‘tips’ that can help you take a good hard look at your current marketing activities. At the Reality Marketing Summit, we’ll have a number of the Philadelphia area’s most successful entrepreneurs and business owners pulling back the curtain on even more secrets.”

“The first tip is that before you execute any marketing tactics, make sure your business is special,” Lieberman continued. “Before you spend one dollar on marketing if your business isn’t doing anything different, then consider saving your money. It’s worth your time to think about your business and define what makes it special. Why would anyone want to do business with you?

“Secondly, evaluate your website. Every website needs a couple of critical components to transform it from a pretty piece of brochure-ware into a sales generating machine,” added Lieberman.

“The third secret is to start an email campaign and scour the contact lists from everyone in your company for email addresses. Become obsessed with collecting email addresses during the course of business,” Lieberman said. “And finally, start a lead referral program and help your clients pass your information along to their friends, family, and colleagues. To generate new sales quickly, building on your existing customer base typically generates quick results. Since you already have a great website and regular email campaign, now you can communicate the new lead referral program via these to methods.”

A recognized expert in the areas of strategic marketing, message creation and unique differentiation tactics, Lieberman and his partner Eric Keiles coined the concept, Reality Marketing™ to describe how small- and medium-sized businesses utilize cost effective marketing tactics to achieve dramatic business growth. Lieberman brings over 20 years of experience leading marketing organizations in a variety of industries include software, consumer services, technology, travel and information services.
